OWNER/ESTIMATOR: Jack Birdsong Jack holds the Texas State Master Electrician, Class A Environmental Air Conditioning, and Class A Refrigeration licenses. He is involved with the Garland Chamber of Commerce, is active in many community service projects, and is a promoter of vocational education. PRESIDENT OF SALES & SERVICE/ OFFICE MANAGER: Becky Birdsong Becky is responsible for the daily operations of “Birdsong Sales & Service”. In addition, she also handles the company’s accounts receivable. In July, 2009 Becky retired as a Manager from New York Life Insurance Company after 40 years of service in order to work with her husband (Jack Birdsong). Becky was born and raised in Dallas and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, as well as watching her husband compete in the sport of team roping whenever possible. ESTIMATOR/SUPERVISOR: Rob Waldron Rob is licensed as a Texas State Electrical Journeyman and Sign Contractor. Rob grew up in the sign business, helping his father with neon and all other types of sign installations and repairs. He handles most of the day-to-day operations of estimating and supervising the technicians. Rob maintains 24 hour contact with every Birdsong Electric job, and still manages to be very involved with his two kids and their sports activities. SALES REPRESENTATIVE - LIGHTING DIVISION: Gayla Batson Gayla is our point of contact for lamps or ballast. She also contacts potential customers for Birdsong Electric and informs them of our services and rates. Because everyone at Birdsong Electric works as a team, she's also often found answering phones or writing up job orders for our technicians. Whenever she has time off, Gayla likes to hang out with her husband and their one year old daughter. They spend most of their weekends at the lake and going on picnics in the park. DISPATCH/CUSTOMER SERVICE: Laycee Cheney Laycee handles our daily scheduling, answers the dispatch phone, orders materials as needed for jobs, and invoices all service calls. She also keeps track of our bonus program, pulls permits, and schedules inspections as needed. Laycee's duties also include keeping track of all bid jobs and the supply reports for each one. CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE: Tiffany Ackerman Tiffany is the first person you talk to when calling Birdsong Electric. Some of her duties include answering the phone, writing up jobs, entering bills, coordinating events, and a variety of other jobs. She's also a Notary Public. Tiffany grew up in Dallas and now lives in Rockwall with her two children, ages 3 and 6.
